Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise applications using Java, Oracle, and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement web-based applications

  • Design and develop highly complex applications using Java and Oracle technologies

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across large enterprise environments

  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Develop and enhance Java source code based on clearly defined requirements

  • Design, architect, and implement Kafka-based messaging and streaming solutions

  • Participate in peer code reviews and follow coding standards

  • Assist with production environment setup, including application servers and database structures

  • Support application deployments through testing and into production

  • Perform maintenance and enhancements on production systems

  • Assist QA teams with test scripts and functional explanations

  • Perform unit testing on candidate releases

  • Adapt to changing requirements while meeting deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT and/or software development

  • 5+ years of experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)

  • 5+ years of experience with Java server-side technologies (JEE, Spring, Spring Boot)

  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL on Oracle or similar platforms

  • 5+ years of experience with IBM MQ and Kafka-based stream processing

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Angular and Bootstrap

  • Experience with Node.js and Java toolchains (NPM, Angular CLI, Maven)

  • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud platforms

  • Experience building RESTful services (JAX-RS or Spring MVC)

  • Experience developing single-page applications

  • Experience with testing tools (JUnit, Mockito, Mocha, Selenium)

  • Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible)

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
